Elvenpath Frankfurt, Germany
Elvenpath is not another retro band that tries desperately to sound old school and is more concerned about tight pants and
numerous spikes than about good songs. Neither are they oblivious to the glorious past of heavy metal. They’re rooted in the traditional style of (German) power metal but there are plenty more influences to be discovered in their music.

Bon, même si c'est un peu cliché à dire, ce deuxième album est plus mature et recherché que le premier, totalement concentré sur ce style de heavy qui leur est propre, et un peu moins kitsch, mais avec quelques soupçons d'épique par-ci par-là (notamment Godbreaker) On en vient juste à regretter l'indisponibilité des paroles qui empêche de savourer intégralement la musique.

Les petits gars ont trouvé leur voie, mais ont encore cette agilité dans le style qui fait la richesse de cet album : allez comparer Enhammered et Ebon Star, ces chansons n'ont rien à voir, et pourtant on trouve la même patte dans la musique. Ils ont le feu !
